A special meeting of the Women’s Jnana Vikasa Kendra was held at Jogikallu, Sandur taluk, where a self-employment motivational camp was organized. The meeting was inaugurated by Shri Rohithaksha, the District Director of Ballari, who addressed the program. He stated that every woman should build a self-reliant life by turning her skills into a profession based on her interests.
He also spoke about the community development work being done by the project, He emphasized that every family should prioritize financial discipline for development and wished everyone success in starting their own businesses and building a self-reliant life.
The resource person, Smt. Parvathi Madam, demonstrated how to make artificial flower bouquets and home decor items. The members of the center also participated in the preparation of these items.
The program was attended by the Project Officer Shri Surya Narayana Taluk Vigilance Officer Shri Javed Supervisor Yashoda and Jnana Vikasa Coordinator Kavitha.
