The Handover Ceremony of the rejuvenated  Lake was successfully organized at Shidlekoona village. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including the District Director of SKDRDP, Mr. Praveen Kumar, and Panchayat Development Officer (PDO) Shri Prabhanna. During the address, the chief guests and dignitaries highly commended the collaborative spirit of the village. They emphasized that rejuvenating local water bodies is the most definitive solution to rising groundwater depletion and recurring rural water scarcity. This successfully restored water body now directly benefits 480 rural families by securing their domestic water needs and improving the local water table. Furthermore, the increased water storage capacity provides critical irrigation support to 390 acres of surrounding agricultural land, injecting long-term stability into local farming and ensuring sustainable livelihoods for the agrarian community.
