A Vatsalya House Handover Programme was held at Kaverinagar under the K.R. Puram Project Office. Sri Sheenappa, Regional Director, Bengaluru Region, was the chief guest and handed over the Vatsalya house to Sri Shamaṇṇa, a Vatsalya beneficiary. Sri Venkatesh, Member of the District Janajagruthi Vedike, also participated in the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, Sri Sheenappa highlighted the Vatsalya initiative of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, which supports beneficiaries through monthly pension assistance, Vatsalya houses and Vatsalya food distribution. He stated that such initiatives are being implemented in line with the vision of Pujya Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade and Mathrushree Dr. Hemavathi V. Heggade, with the objective of enabling every individual to lead a secure and dignified life. He conveyed his best wishes to the beneficiary.

Sri Venkatesh appreciated the efforts of Mathrushree Dr. Hemavathi V. Heggade towards women’s empowerment and the welfare of Vatsalya beneficiaries. He stated that the support and facilities extended through the Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project are commendable and expressed gratitude to Pujya Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade and Mathrushree Dr. Hemavathi V. Heggade for their continued service to the community.
