Gandhi Smriti and Navajeevana Sadhana Convention Held at Dharmasthala

Under the guidance and leadership of Pujya Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade ji, Mathrushree Hemavathi V. Heggade inaugurated the “Gandhi Smriti and Navajeevana Sadhana Convention” organised by the Akhila Karnataka Janajagruthi Vedike of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project at Amrithavarshini Sabha Bhavana, Dharmasthala, as part of the Gandhi Jayanti celebrations. She conveyed her best wishes for the successful conduct of the programme and highlighted the importance of promoting Gandhian values and creating awareness towards a healthy and responsible society.

Pujya Sri Sri Sri Vidyaprasanna Theertha Sripadangalavaru of Sri Madhvacharya Mahasamsthana, Subrahmanya Mutt, graced the occasion and blessed the gathering with his valuable message. The programme emphasised the importance of building a society free from alcohol and other harmful addictions and encouraging individuals and families to lead a healthy and dignified life.

In accordance with the vision of Pujya Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, Gandhi Smriti programmes are being organised by the SKDRDP across Karnataka throughout the month of October with the resolve to create an alcohol-free society. Through these programmes, awareness is being created among the public on the harmful effects of alcohol addiction, the importance of family well-being and the need for collective efforts towards a healthier and more responsible society.
