The Executive Director of IDBI Bank Sri. Nagaraj Garla and his team gave a visit to SKDRDP Head Office, Dharmasthala and appreciated SKDRDP programmes.

IDBI Bank had organized a saplings planting programme in Dharmasthala as part of new plan of Honorable Prime Minister of India Sri. Narendra Modiji named “Plant4Mother”.

Rev. Shri. D. Veerendra Heggadeji, President of SKDRDP, gave sapling to the bank officials.

The bank officials and the Chief Executive Officer of SKDRDP BC Trust(R) Sri. Anil Kumar S S planted the saplings and raised awareness to save the environment.

The Government has set a goal to plant 140 crore saplings in the year 2024-25, and the IDBI bank has set a goal to plant 1 lakh saplings.

SKDRDP as a business correspondent of IDBI bank has created more than 1 lakh PBG and SHG groups in Dharwad, Bangalore, Haveri, Raichur, Kodagu and Chikkamagaluru Districts and provided financial facilities to the group through bank. Also done financial inclusion programmes for the rural people.

SKDRDP as a BC model is providing loans to the PBG/SHG group members at an interest rate of 14% through IDBI Bank and empowered people financially and socially.
