Taluk level women’s workshop was organized under Jnanavikasa Programme at Naragunda Taluk. Pura Sabha President Mrs. Rajeshwari Havaldar, Naragunda C P I Sri. Mallayya Matapathi, District Janajagruthi Vedike President Sri. H. B Asuti, Sri. Umesh Gowda Patil, Lions Club President and other officials were present.
For farmers agricultural land harvesting purpose, SKDRDP has started Rental Harvesting Machineries Service Center (Harvester Bank) at Davangere’s Anagodu and Kalasthavadi of Mysore. In these two service centers, a total of 40 Multi-crop harvesting machineries are available and so far, 69,665 farmers of the state have harvested 1,56,746 acres of agricultural area.
State and district Fire brigade officials met Rev. Shri D. Veerendra Heggade and SKDRDP Executive Director and discussed about “Shourya” Shri Dharmasthala Disaster Management programme. Around 9,200 volunteers of 70 Shourya teams were trained to provide service during disasters in collaboration with Fire brigade team.
