Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project B.C. Trust (R), Honnavara Taluk organized the 1920th De-addiction Camp on 06.05.2025 at M.P.E. Society’s Central School (S.D.M. College), Honnavara.

The 1920th De-addiction Camp of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project B.C. Trust (R) was held in the Uttara Kannada District. The program was inaugurated by Sri Siddarameshwar S., Police Inspector, Honnavara, under the presidency of Sri Krishna Murthy Bhat, President, M. P. E. Society, Honnavara.

A total of 58 participants registered for the camp. Later, cultural programs were organized by the office bearers of the Jnana Vikasa Kendra of the kharwa Zone and the Federation. Smt. Manji Gowda, President of the Kasarakod Federation, explained to the participants about the harmful effects of alcoholism and the harmony and discord that occur in families. She encouraged them to take advantage of the camp and live as good individuals in society.

Sri S. G. Bhat, retired Principal and National Award winner, was the honorary president of the valedictory program of the 1920th De-addiction Camp Committee, Honnavara. Sri Devidas D. Madiwala, President, K.E.B. Pensioners Association and President of the 1920th De-addiction Camp, Honnavara, and other dignitaries were present.
