On June 1, 2025, a meeting of the Shourya Disaster Management Committee coordinators and unit representatives from 10 zones of the taluk was held at the Mangaluru project office.
The meeting was conducted in the presence of the Area Project Officer and the Project Officer of the Shourya Disaster Management Unit. During the session, information was provided regarding the formation of an emergency response unit to ensure immediate action during natural calamities, especially in the current monsoon season.
