In Hulibele village of Bangarapete Taluk, Kolar District, the Hirekere lake desilting project, costing 11 lakhs, was finished, on June 2, 2025, by SKDRDP under “Nammuru Namma Kere” initiative. The lake was handed over to the Gram Panchayat.
The event saw the presence of the Hulibele Gram Panchayat President and members, along with Shivananda Acharya, District Director of SKDRDP, Chetan Kumar, Field Project Officer for Bangarapete Taluk, Bharat Kumar, Lake Engineer and Vemanarayana, Agriculture Supervisor.
