Today, the Nisarga jnana Vikasa Kendra was inaugurated in the Katehalli work area, under the Davangere Rural Project of the Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project’s Jnana Vikasa Women’s program.
Smt. Yashodha, the Taluk Project Officer, inaugurated the center and addressed the gathering. She emphasized that through the Jnana Vikasa Women’s program, women should strive to be recognized in the mainstream of society, economically, socially, and educationally. She lauded Revered Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade and Dr. Hemavathi V Heggade for initiating socially conscious programs that inspire societal development. She further stated that the Jnana Vikasa program aims to strengthen families by providing information and guidance on various topics, including health, education, nutritious food, self-employment, law, and government schemes.
Shri Shivakumar Sahitya, a writer, spoke on the occasion, highlighting that families can only achieve success when women take on responsibilities in family management. He also stressed the importance of adhering to culture and traditions, as only then will children adopt those values.
Shri Nagaraj, a teacher, extended his best wishes, expressing hope that women would make their mark in all fields through the Jnana Vikasa programs. Smt. Sudha, the Federation President, also conveyed her good wishes for the program. The event was attended by Smt. Pratibha, Jnana Vikasa Coordinator; Smt. Akshatha, Supervisor; Smt. Duggamma, Service Representative; and all members of the Nisarga Jnana Vikasa Kendra.
