In Deshanur village of Siruguppa Taluk, the Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (B.C. Trust) distributed equipment worth Rs 1.22 lakh to specially-abled individuals under the Janamangala program. Shri Rohitaksha, the District Director of Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, distributed these aids.
Shri Rohitaksha stated that the Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project is implementing numerous programs across the state. Specifically, under the Janamangala program, various aids including wheelchairs, commode chairs, U-shape walkers, three-leg sticks, single-leg sticks, and water beds are being distributed to the specially-abled. He informed that equipment worth Rs 34 lakh has been distributed in the taluk so far.
