A training workshop for “Shourya” Disaster Management Volunteers, organized by the Puttur Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, took place on July 1st at the project office auditorium in the Puttur Dharmasthala building.
Shri S. Anjaneya Reddy, City Police Station Head, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. Speaking at the event, they praised the Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, stating that it functions like a mini-government, operating in all sectors. They highlighted its honest service to society in the fields of efficiency, agriculture, education, economy, and religion. further added that the Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, with its continuous initiation of new schemes for social development, is deserving of a world-renowned Nobel Prize.
Shri Shantilal Jattiyal, Team Commander of the NDRF, along with his team, provided training to the “Shourya” team volunteers from Puttur Taluk.
The event saw the presence of Shri Padmanabha Shetty, District President of Janajagruthi; Shri Lokesh Hegde, Taluk President of Janajagruthi; Shri Vivek Vincent Pais, Regional Director of Janajagruthi; Babu Naik, District Director; along with Janajagruthi Project Officers, Disaster Project Officers, and Taluk Project Officers.
