A Mass Varalakshmi Puja and a religious gathering were held at the Panchakshari Math premises in Betasur village, Saudatti taluk, on August 19, 2025. Panchakshari Math’s Sri Shivananda Shivacharya Mahaswamiji graced the occasion, inaugurated the event,Chief guest Sri H. R. Lavakumar, District Director, spoke about the importance of community programs and the various social initiatives of the organization. The young writer and lecturer, Sri Shridhar Asangihal, lectured on the background of the Varalakshmi Vrata and its puja methods.

Sri Hanumantarao Damodar Takkalkir, the Dharmadarshi of Betasur Chidambareshwara Temple, extended his best wishes for the event. Sanction letters for the Sujnananidhi scholarship were distributed to 16 students of technical education from the Betasur area. The program was attended by Betasur Gram Panchayat Vice President Smt. Savitri M. Dodamani, Mass Varalakshmi Puja Committee President Smt. Shaila Patil, Sadanand Kuri, and others.
