A program for  distribution of  Scholarship grant letters, approved by the project for selected children of Pragati Bandhu and Self-Help Group members of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, was held on August 19, 2025, at the Lambani Community Hall of Arasikere

The program was inaugurated by Shri Shrikanth Navalagund, President of the Arasikere Taluk Senior Citizens’ Forum. The guests were welcomed by Smt.Akshata Rai,  Project Officer.

During the program Block Education Officer Shri Mohan Kumar  said that Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala is not just a religious center but also continuously undertakes many social welfare programs across the nation. He emphasized that the Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala, in the form of a deity, is carrying out many social activities for the benefit of people in rural areas. He also advised children to give higher priority to education to shape their bright future.

The  District Director of Hassan district, Shri Suresh Moily, provided information about the programs of the SKDRDP, such as pension distribution, Janamangala program, Jnanavikasa program, Gelathi program, and many more . He also spoke about culture and values. Shri Ganesh Murthy, a member of the District Janajagruthi Forum, gave information about the programs conducted by the revered authorities through the project. He shared his view that the Sujnana Nidhi program is a great initiative that encourages students by providing financial assistance to poor students.
