A Teacher’s Day celebration was held at the Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) office in Koteshwara, Kundapura Taluk.
Shri Subrahmanya Shetty, a member of the District Janajagruthi Committee, presided over the function. In his address, he stated that teacher’s must understand the potential of their students and strive for their all-round development. He emphasized that the teaching profession holds a superior position compared to all other jobs in society and that the role of teachers is crucial in shaping children into good citizens. He urged teachers to adequately fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to them.
Under the SKDRDP of 35 teachers have been selected as Jnanadeepa Teachers for the current year in Kundapura Taluk to address the shortage of teachers in rural government and aided schools. As in previous years, gifts were presented to all these teachers on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.
