The 2000th De-addiction Camp in Srirangapatna Taluk was launched on October 29, 2025. The inaugural ceremony was conducted in the presence of several dignitaries, including B G Kumar, Police Inspector; Handanahalli Somashekhar, President of Akhila Karnataka Jilla Janajagruthi Vedike, KR Nagar; M L Dinesh, President of the Town Municipal Council ; and Krishnappa, Member of the Town Municipal Council. The launch was also graced by the attendance of Ashalatha Puttegowda, Saikumar S H, and other delegates.
