The Women’s Jnana Vikasa Taluk-level Seminar was held in Tiptur Taluk under the Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP). The program was inaugurated by Sri Immadi Karibasavadeshi Swamiji of Shidlihalli Math, who lit the lamp and praised the active participation of women. He also appreciated the social service of Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade ji and Smt. Hemavathi V Heggade.
District Director Shri Satish Suvarna spoke on the objectives of the Jnana Vikasa program, highlighting areas such as family harmony, education, health, self-employment, government schemes, and legal awareness. Dr. Sridhar appreciated women’s discipline and noted the positive impact of SKDRDP on many families.
Resource Person Kumari Pramodini created awareness on social issues, cybercrime, child marriage, and emphasised that women are the heart of every home. Participants included Project Officer Shri Uday retired Deputy Director Smt. Mangalagouri and members from 25 Jnana Vikasa Centres.
