The Taluk-level Women’s Discussion Forum (Mahila Vicharagoshthi) was held at Srirangapatna Taluk. The programme was inaugurated by the MLA Shri Ramesh Bandi Siddegowda, who appreciated the work of Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) in rural areas. He emphasized the need for providing employment-oriented training to youth, highlighted the importance of women’s health, and urged beneficiaries to make effective use of government welfare schemes.
The programme was presided over by Ms. Ashalatha Puttegouda. Mrs. Mamatha Rao, Director, Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP), highlighted the benefits of the Jnanavikasa and Vatsalya programmes, while Dr. M. Savitha, Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, delivered an address on women’s health. The programme witnessed the participation of Jnanavikasa representatives, project officers, centre presidents, members, and local villagers.
