Under the Jnanavikasa Programme of Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP), the annual celebration of the Sambhrama Jnanavikasa Centre was held at Saundatti town.

The programme was inaugurated by Shri H. R. Lavakumar, District Director of Belagavi-2 District, SKDRDP. Speaking on the occasion, he explained that the primary objective of the Jnanavikasa Programme is to empower women by helping them engage in self-development, manage their families effectively, and integrate into the mainstream of society. He also provided information on self-employment opportunities, health education, and imparting good values to children.

Renowned cardiologist Shri Nitin Hanumanthagadar addressed the gathering and highlighted that, due to modern lifestyles, heart attacks are increasingly affecting today’s youth. He emphasized the importance of balanced and nutritious diets, regular exercise, and adequate rest, and advised parents to provide home-cooked food to children.

Various games and cultural programmes were organized for the members of the Jnanavikasa Centre, and prizes were distributed to the winners.

The programme was attended by Project Officer Shri Subraya Naik, Federation President Renuka Sanshi, Vice President Lakshmavva, Supervisor Kaveri Mastiholi, Jnanavikasa Coordinator Nirmala Kalasagaudar, Sevapratinidhi Basamma Chikkumbi, along with the members of the Jnanavikasa Centre.
