Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) organized the 879th Nammuru Namma Kere Lake Rejuvenation and Handover Program at Indira Nagar under the Sedam Project Office. Under the Nammuru Namma Kere initiative, an 8-acre lake was constructed and rejuvenated, and it was formally handed over to the community for sustainable use and maintenance.
This lake development work has directly benefited 769 farmers, supported nearly 1,000 families, and provided irrigation benefits to around 80 acres of agricultural land, thereby strengthening rural livelihoods and improving water availability in the region.
The program was graced by Dr. Sharanaprakash Patil Udagi, Honorable Minister for Medical Education and Skill Development, Government of Karnataka.The event was also attended by Shri Dinesh Poojari, Regional Director of SKDRDP, B.C. Trust (R), Kalaburagi Regional Office, along with other project officials and local residents. The program marked the successful completion and handover of the 879th lake rejuvenation initiative under the Nammuru Namma Kere program.
