Under the divine guidance of Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade ji and the visionary leadership of Matrushree Hemavathi Heggade, the Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP), Belthangady Taluk, organized the Vatsalya House Handover Ceremony. The event took place in the Ujire village of Belthangady. The house was constructed for Indira, a resident of Ujire and a regular recipient of the monthly Vatsalya pension.
During the handover, Shri Shantaram Pai expressed that the Vatsalya program was born out of Matrushree Hemavathi Heggade’s empathy for those living in difficult conditions. He noted that after observing the struggles of pension recipients, she envisioned these homes to bring “light to their lives.
Smt. Usha Karanth also spoke, highlighting how the Jnana Vikasa program has empowered women across various sectors. She lauded the Vatsalya initiative for being a pillar of support for the helpless and expressed her gratitude that a member of her village panchayat received such life-changing assistance.
The program was attended by the several dignitaries Shri Prashanth Jain and Shri Madhusudan and other delegates.
SKDRDP Hands Over Newly Constructed “Vatsalya House” to Beneficiary in Ujire
