Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP), Moodubidri Taluk, under the guidance of Poojya Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade, organized the Vatsalya programme. Under this programme, the Vatsalya house handover to the Chandravathi, a Vatsalya member from Dharagudde village in Beluvai zone of Moodubidri taluk, was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Dr. Mohan Alva, President of Alva’s Education Institutions.
During the program Mohan Alva stated that Recognizing the difficult living conditions of members receiving monthly assistance through SKDRDP, Mathrushree Amma envisioned the construction of Vatsalya houses to bring light into their lives. Identifying that Chandravathi’s family lacked a proper house for living, a beautiful and suitable home was constructed by the project and handed over with great joy. Best wishes were conveyed for Chandravathi’s family to live happily and prosperously in the new home.
Shri Kuldeep Chowta of the Moodubidri royal family formally handed over the Vatsalya house and extended his wishes. The programme was attended by Shri Subhash Chandra Chowta, President of the Janajagruti Vedike of Moodubidri taluk; Ashok Shetty, Panchayat President; member Prasad; dignitary Jagath Pal S. Hegde; federation president, office bearers, zonal supervisors, and Sevaprathinidhi.
