The inauguration program of the new Shuddhaganga Unit was held at Badavanahalli Gram Panchayat in cooperation with the Gram Panchayat and SKDRDP.

Shri Praveen Kumar, District Director, Tumakuru-2, participated as the chief guest and spoke about the Shuddhaganga Project initiated in 2009 by Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade ji to improve the health of rural communities. He explained that advanced machinery was imported from abroad for the first time in the state to establish Shuddhaganga units and provide purified drinking water to the public. He also highlighted the benefits of using purified water, the harmful effects of contaminated borewell water, and various welfare programs of SKDRDP.

The program was attended by Taluk Project Officer Shashidhar, former Gram Panchayat President Bhanupriya Nagaraj, Gram Panchayat Development Officer, District Janajagruti Vedike President Lal Pete Manjunath, Shuddhaganga Supervisor Manu, Zonal Supervisor Arun, and Sevapratinidhi.
