A Vatsalya House Handover was organised by Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) in Alur Taluk. Under the Vatsalya initiative, a house constructed for beneficiary Smt, Giddamma was formally handed over to her by Sri Mahabala Kulal, District Director.
Speaking on the occasion, Sri Mahabala Kulal said that the initiative identifies extremely vulnerable and destitute individuals who are deprived of basic amenities and are living in difficult circumstances. In accordance with the vision of Mathrushree Dr. Hemavathi V. Heggade, Vatsalya houses are constructed to help such beneficiaries lead a life with dignity, security and peace.
The event was attended by Sri Dinesh Poojary, Director, Jnanavikasa Department, Head Office; Smt. Mallika, Project Officer, Jnanavikasa Department, Head Office; Sri Ratnakar Kothari, Taluk Project Officer and other delegates .The guests appreciated the Vatsalya initiative as a compassionate effort to support vulnerable individuals and enable them to spend the later stages of their lives with dignity, comfort and peace.
