Under the “Vatsalya” program envisioned by Matrushree Hemavathi V. Heggade of Dharmasthala, a newly constructed ‘Vatsalya House’ was handed over to the beneficiary, Smt. Lakshmamma, in Devaramavinakere village, Kadaballi zone of Turuvekere Rural Taluk.
The handover ceremony was presided over by the District Director of Tumkur-1 District, Shri Satish Suvarna. Speaking on the occasion, he highlighted that Matrushree Hemavathi Amma provides monthly financial assistance to approximately 18,000 people who are unable to meet their basic livelihood needs. Furthermore, for beneficiaries who lack proper shelter, the project has constructed and handed over about 700 Vatsalya houses to date.
As part of this initiative, a house was constructed for Smt. Lakshmamma.The Director wished that she might spend the remaining years of her life in peace and comfort in this new home. He also urged the villagers to provide her with continued support and cooperation. Additionally, he shared information regarding several other pro-people welfare programs being implemented by the SKDRDP.
