The district level progress conference and SHG profit margin distribution programme was organized at Swamy Vivekananda Stadium of Sira Taluk, Tumkur District.

Rev. Shri. D. Veerendra Heggade inaugurated the programme and said profit can be obtained only if the business is done properly. We are proud to share the profit margin with you. Profit is like a butter inside the buttermilk, buttermilk will not be less even after taking out the butter. Same as that, profit of your savings is also yours.

Later, Poojya Heggadeji distributed the tailoring machine, Arogya Raksha facility, DD to temple and cheque to milk dairy.

The Chief Executive Officer of SDM Kshemavana Mrs. Shraddha Amith felicitated the achievers of Self-Help Groups.

The MLA of Sira Sri.  T. B. Jayachandra distributed the marginal profit to SHG members and said Heggadeji has become a role model to everyone through their social works like women empowerment, lake and temple rejuvenation etc. Sri. Chidananda M. gowda, MLC-Sira, handed over the Honnenahalli lake rejuvenated under Nammuru Namma Kere programme.

About 20-25 thousand of people were present in the programme including the Chief Operating Officer Sri. Anil Kumar S.S., Regional Director Sri. Sheenappa M., Director Sri. Dinesh D., President of Janajagruthi Vedike Sri. S.K. Ramachandra Gupta, Project Officers, Supervisors, Sevaprathinidhis, SHG members, SKDRDP Staffs and villagers etc.
