Rev. Shri. D. Veerendra Heggade, President of SKDRDP, participated in the meeting organized for the officials of Janajagruthi Vedike at K.R. Nagara and explained the intention of de-addiction camps and said to conduct more swasthya sankalpa programmes at schools and colleges since many young people are falling for the bad habits.

So far, SKDRDP has organized total 1,796 community and de-addiction camps across the state and about 1,22,766 members were de-addicted.
