The Chief Executive Officer of SDM Kshemavana Mrs. Shraddha Amith inaugurated the Taluk Level Women’s Conference and Self-employment Drive organized at Gauribidanur and explained the role and importance of women.

MLA of Gauribidanur Sri. Puttaswamy Gowda appreciated the SKDRDP women empowerment programme and felicitated the women done achievements in Education, Agriculture and Banking fields.

Various SKDRDP facilities like Sujnananidhi Scholarship, Loan to Self-employment and wheelchair to specially abled people were distributed in the programme. The stall display was organized by self-employed Jnanavikasa members in the programme. So far, about 65,200 Jnanavikasa members got trained in the motivational workshop organized under Jnanavikasa programme and began self-employment.
