Rev. Shri. D. Veerendra Heggadeji, President of SKDRDP, launched the distribution of 4,044 desk-bench to 507 schools of different taluks of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Kodagu and Kasaragod Districts worth Rs. 2.74 Crore and said” Now the Government schools are working efficiently. But the schools have shortage of teachers. So, the Government has to fill the shortage of teachers in Government schools. Parents should focus on increasing enrolment for Government school to survive. Students should take benefits of Government Facilities to create better future.” He then handed over the waste transport vehicle worth Rs. 46.65 lakh and equipments sanction letter to the CEO of Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat Sri. Anand K for the waste management unit (MRF) of Ujire.
