In Lingadahalli village of Sira taluk, Tumakuru-2 district, the desilting work on the Gokatte Lake, which has red soil, began on March 5, 2025, and concluded on March 18, 2025. The Gokatte Lake was officially handed over to the Lake Committee on May 23, 2025. The program was inaugurated by the Honorable MLA, Shri T.B. Jayachandra, who praised Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala for undertaking numerous socially conscious initiatives.

During the event, Tumakuru-2 District Director, Praveen, announced that this was the 813th lake being handed over to a Gram Panchayat. The program attended by Shri Ranganathaiah, Panchayat Development Officers Hanumantaraya.G from Honnagondanahalli Gram Panchayat and Venkatesh from Kotta Gram Panchayat, Taluk Field Project Officer Ramesh N., Gram Panchayat President Manjula Ningayya, Sector Supervisor Mahadevamma S.M., Agriculture Supervisor Shrisha Acharya, Jnanavikasa Coordinator Asha.T, Sevaprathinidhis, and local villagers.
