SKDRDP’s Yantrashri: A New Era for Paddy Cultivation

The Shri Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) has launched ‘Yantrashri’, a mechanized paddy cultivation program, with the goal of making paddy farming, a lifeline for farmers, more profitable.
For the 2025-26 agricultural year, the ‘Yantrashri’ program is set to be implemented across 25,000 acres in 89 taluks of the state. The symbolic launch of this initiative was carried out by Honorable Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade ji.

This program aims to address the challenges of labor shortages and high cultivation costs. To date, mechanized paddy transplantation has been carried out on 100,254 acres belonging to 44,119 farmers.
