Chikkajajur project office organized a health check-up camp as part of its Mahila Jnanavikasa program. The camp was held at the library office near the old Andanur Gram Panchayat. The program began with the lighting of the lamp by Nagarathna, the president of the federation, who presided over the event.
Ranjitha, the Jnanavikasa Coordinator, delivered the introductory speech. She provided insights into the journey of the Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, detailed the various Jnanavikasa programs, and highlighted the importance of the health check-up camp.
Dr. Swathi from Sahyadri Narayana Hospital spoke about the crucial role of women in maintaining robust health. She also informed participants about common health issues affecting women, such as breast cancer, throat cancer, and cervical cancer, emphasizing preventive measures to avoid these diseases.
