An order distribution ceremony was held today at the Taluk Project Office in Siruguppa, marking the official deployment of Jnana Deepa teachers to government primary schools facing teacher shortages in rural areas.
Shri Rohitaksha, District Director highlighted the significant commitment made by Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade ji, who sanctioned a substantial, a move that brought considerable satisfaction upon the distribution of deployment orders. Rs.8.91 crore to deploy 1,100 teachers across Karnataka through the Jnana Deepa program. Specifically for Siruguppa taluk, Rs.1.62 lakh has been allocated to deploy teachers to two government schools. Beyond education, the Rural Development Project is actively engaged in a multitude of community-focused initiatives aimed at broader societal advancement. These include critical tasks like desilting lakes, distributing essential aids to specially-abled individuals under the Janamangala program, and providing both monthly financial support and Vatsalya kits to the destitute through the Vatsalya program.
The event saw the presence of key officials, including Taluk Project Officer Shri Sudhir Hangaluru, headmasters from the beneficiary schools, the newly appointed Jnana Deepa teachers, supervisors, staff, and enthusiastic project beneficiaries.
