Distribution of Sujnananidhi Scholarship sanction letters for the year 2024-25 program was held , at the auditorium of Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Athani Taluk.

The program was inaugurated by lighting a lamp by Shri Sanjay Nadagouda, President of the District Janajagruti Vedike and Director of the Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University, Gadag. He stated that the social work being done by the revered head of Dharmasthala is a model for the entire world.
Smt. Nagarathna Hegde, the District Director of the SKDRDP of Gadaga , gave the introductory remarks. She informed that this year, the revered head has sanctioned the Sujnananidhi Scholarship for 91 students from Athani Taluk who have opted for professional education. She also mentioned that so far, more than 300 students have benefited from this. She also provided information about the programs of the SKDRDP.

Shri Prakash Mahajan, Vice President of Shri Vidyavardhak School, was the chief guest. He said that the work being done by the revered Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade ji of Dharmasthala cannot be replicated by any government and that he has given a great contribution to society. He further stated that the trust is responsible for the financial, social, and religious empowerment of women in society.
Shri Amar Durgannavar,. Stated that the Dharmasthala Rural Development Project is doing good work in our society and offered heartfelt thanks to its revered head who is the reason for this.
The event was also attended by the Project Officer Shri Rajabali Melinamani, District Janajagruti Vedike member and PLD Bank President Shri Dundappa Aski, Jnanavikasa Coordinator Smt. Asha Bhogur, Zonal Supervisor Anjana Khanatti, Seva Prathinidhi Ashok Korachagaon, , students, and their parents.
