Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project B.C. Trust (R) Somwarpet organized a Sujnananidhi scholarship approval letter distribution ceremony at Somwarpet project office.
Former MLC Shri S. G. Medappa, who attended the event as the chief guest, inaugurated the program by lighting a lamp. He advised the students to study with dedication, devotion, and determination in today’s competitive era. He expressed his joy, stating that the students present are pursuing higher education and should aim to pass with high grades, secure good positions, and serve the people. He noted that the revered Heggade ji has designed the Sujnananidhi scholarship program so that poor students in society can also pursue higher education.
Speaking at the event, Smt. Leelavathi, the District Director of Kodagu, said that the poor should not remain poor; they should aspire to live with self-respect between their birth and death. In this regard, she provided information on various programs for village development that the revered has initiated through the rural development project.
On this occasion, Shri Abhimanyu Kumar, the founder-president of the Jana Jagruthi Vedike spoke, saying that every student should develop good character along with a good education, otherwise the education they receive will have no value. Shri Suresh Masagodu, a member of the Jana Jagruthi Vedike, was also present. The program was welcomed by Project Officer Shri Hanumantappa Angadi, and supervised and thanked by Agricultural Supervisor Shri Harish Kumar.
