On behalf of the Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, BC Trust (R), the Vatsalya Programme implemented in Koyyuru village of Belthangady Taluk. As part of this programme, the Vatsalya house handed over by the Honourable Executive Director of Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, Shri Anil Kumar S. S. Speaking on the occasion, it was highlighted that Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, guided by the principles of Bhushakti, Janashakti, and Jalashakti, has consistently focused on the development of agricultural land and rural livelihoods. As envisioned by Poojya Dr. Heggade ji, through initiatives such as Pragati Bandhu and various developmental programmes, the project has played a pivotal role in the holistic development of individuals and villages, transforming the lives of numerous families.
Recognizing that the beneficiary’s earlier residence lacked essential basic amenities, the project identified the need and constructed a well-equipped, dignified house under the Vatsalya Programme. The newly built house was handed over to the beneficiary with best wishes by the Honourable Executive Director, bringing joy and renewed hope to the family.
Addressing the gathering, Gram Panchayat President Shri Dayamani expressed happiness that such a meaningful scheme identifies families without basic housing facilities and provides them with proper homes through the Vatsalya Programme, and conveyed satisfaction that this opportunity was extended to a deserving mother from their village.
The programme was attended by Former Taluk Panchayat Member Shri Praveen, Gram Panchayat Vice President Shri Harish Gowda, Pragati Bandhu Federation President Shri Praveen Malebettu, Bajila Federation President Shri Lingappa Gowda. The programme began with a welcome address by Taluk Project Officer Shri Yashodhar, and concluded with a vote of thanks by jnanavikas Programme Coordinator Shri Madhuravasanth.
