The rate of interest of the loan availed by the members of SHG through Bank OD/CC loan is 13.5 % (Dakshina Kannada and Udupi) and 14 % (all other district except Belgaum). This rate includes the bank interest plus BC service charges payable by the Bank to SKDRDP. The rate may be varies according to the rate revised by the bank.
RATE OF INTEREST: For new sanction from 01-05-2025 The rate of interest revised for the loans disbursed by SHG to its members from 01-05-2025 are as follows 1) 14.5% :The earlier rate of interest at 13.5% and 14% have revised to 14.5% in those respective districts 2) 15% : This rate of interest applicable for the SHG coming in Chikkamangaluru, Haveri, Coorg, Raichur and Bangalore Districts 3) 15.5% : This rate of interest applicable for the loans disbursed by the SHG to its members at Belagavi District

About Us
The Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project(SKDRDP), a charitable trust registered under the Charitable Trust act of 1920 in the office of Sub-Registrar, Government of Karnataka, Belthangady Taluk, Dakshina Kannada District in the year 1991. SKDRDP has significantly evolved from its initial charity phase . Its core mission is to empower people by organizing Self-Help-Groups(SHGs), providing essential infrastructure and micro-credit finance to rural populations. SKDRDP has steadily expanded its reach, now covering all the districts of Karnataka and actively implementing Community Development Programmes.
Beyond its development activities, SKDRDP plays a crucial role in financial inclusion as a Banking Business Correspondent (BC) and Business Facilitator(BF). The SKDRDP BC Trust partners with major banks and SIDBI, bringing banking service directly to remote villages and facilitating self-employment for SHG members. This comprehensive approach, supported by dedicated staff and strong community goodwill, solidifies SKDRDP'S profound impact on rural life.
