Women entrepreneurs workshop was organized by SKDRDP with the collaboration of SELCO Foundation, Bangalore at Amruthavarshini Hall, Dharmasthala. The President of SKDRDP, Rev. Shri D. Veerendra Heggade, presided over the programme and said the research should be done on using sunlight for renewable energy. It should be used in industries too. The President of Jnanavikasa, Matrushree Hemavathi V Heggade inaugurated the programme.

The Executive Officer of SELCO Solar Light, Bangalore, Sri. Mohan Bhaskar Hegde gave information about the solar energy. The Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SELCO Foundation Dr. Harish Hande, CEO of SVYM Smt. Savitha Sulugodu, Executive Director of SKDRDP Dr. L. H. Manjunath, COO Sri. Anil Kumar S S, Various women entrepreneurs, Selco Officers, Project Officers and other SKDRDP Staffs participated in the programme.
