Under the Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) and its “Nammuru Namma Kere” program, Poojya Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade handed over the rejuvenated Nandikunte Lake in Rajaghatta village, Doddaballapur taluk, to the local residents. Dr. Heggade ji offered his blessings to the village’s 700 families, highlighting that the lake now provides a significant water storage capacity of 5.10 Crore Liters.
During the event, held in the presence of Dr. Heggade ji and other dignitaries, various welfare benefits were distributed to beneficiaries within the Doddaballapur project jurisdiction. These included monthly pensions, Sujnananidhi scholarships, and other essential facilities. The impact of this initiative is far-reaching, as 400 families in the village are now directly benefiting from the restored lake, ensuring a more sustainable future for the community’s water and agricultural needs.
