A progress review meeting was organized for the directors and project officers of Kalburgi region. The Executive Director of SKDRDP Dr. L. H. Manjunath inaugurated the meeting and reviewed the progress and gave guidance for the upcoming targets to be achieved.

After the meeting he visited the dairy farmer Praveen Kumar. He has 18 buffalo, 2 cow, 11 calves and 6 acres of green crop to feed them. He used to sell 140 litres of milk to KMF, but due to summer season, the sale dropped to 80 litres. The Executive gave him information about cross-breeds, food, etc. and instructed authorities to provide him a book containing all information regarding dairy farming.
